The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 104-103 on Saturday,
tying the NBA Eastern Conference final 3-3 with a dramatic basket by Derrick White in the final seconds. They are now just one victory away from a historic comeback.
The Celtics will become the first team in history to come back from a 3-0 deficit in a playoff series if they win Game 7 on Monday at home.
Three seconds before the game's conclusion, the Heat gained a one-point lead (102-103) thanks to three free throws made by Jimmy Butler (24 points and 11 rebounds), giving them the victory.
Up until that point, Jayson Tatum of the Celtics, who scored 25 of his team-high 31 points in the opening period, had Miami practically in the rear-view mirror.
Derrick White scored in the air over the buzzer to the astonished 20,000 fans at Miami's Kaseya Center after Marcus Smart missed a last-ditch 3-point attempt.
