Celtics’ Jayson Tatum speaks out on ‘frustrating’ Game 7 injury vs. Heat

Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics in a dismal Game 7 on Monday, sending them into the offseason in a bad way.

For the devoted fans of the Boston Celtics, no play will ever compare to the star player's ankle roll that began Game 7 and set the tone for the whole evening.

The fact that Jayson Tatum was injured undoubtedly affected his playing style and contributed to the lopsided defeat.

Tatum, despite feeling a great deal of frustration, accepted the loss and misfortune when the Celtics' season came to an end.

"I watched the footage after the game and noticed that I had landed on my ankle. It's challenging because it had some effect on me the remainder of the evening.

Tatum was right; he did have a lot of difficulty on both ends of the court. On defense, the Heat frequently pursued him, and he only made five of his thirteen field goal attempts.
