Miami Heat advance to NBA Finals after crushing the Boston Celtics’ dream of a historic comeback

On Monday, the Miami Heat eliminated the Boston Celtics in the NBA's Eastern Conference Finals, 

triumphing 103-84 in Game 7 to progress to the NBA Finals where they will face the Denver Nuggets.

The Heat's triumph on the road prevented the venerable Celtics franchise from setting an NBA record by winning a seven-game series despite dropping the first three games.

There are some amazing athletes in that locker room. They enjoy the challenge, according to Heat coach Erik Spoelstra.

 "They enjoy displaying themselves in front of everyone. Amenable to criticism. open to all possibilities.

Malcolm Brodgon, the point guard for the Boston Celtics, claimed that he believed his team's tight play had an impact on both sides of the court.

"I believed (the Heat) played carelessly. The league's Sixth Man of the Year added, "I think they really performed on the defensive end.
