On Wednesday (May 31), star Jason Sudeikis questioned if Ted Lasso's season three finale marked the end of the popular series.
The creative team, including writer Brett Goldstein, wants the comedy to go three seasons, but no decision has been made.
Sudeikis is open to spin-offs with different characters, although he thinks season three may end the present plot arc.
He wanted to explore spin-off ideas with co-creators Bill Lawrence, Joe Kelly, and Coach Beard actor Brendan Hunt.
"We've set the table for all sorts of folks to get to watch the further telling of these stories," Sudeikis said. "It's nice of people to even contemplate it because you never.
Ted Lasso's cheerful and positive stories have won over audiences worldwide. The series is available on Apple TV+, but its ending is unknown.
